The Festival of Olive Tree and Olive oil is an important institution for the olive industry in all Mediterranean countries including Greece. The festival aims to promote the long aged history of the olive tree and olive oil in the Greek civilization, the methods of production, the bio cultivations and its great importance in the daily nutrition and the health benefits. This festival invites both locals and tourists to discover the treasures of the olive tree and taste traditional dishes with main ingredients the olive oil.

The International Dance Festival was founded in the spring of 1995 with purpose to promote the art of dance via research, education, artistic activity and production. Today in its twenty years of existence, a colorful audience responds with enthusiasm every summer to the call of the Festival with a number of influential creators, who write the history of contemporary dance participating in it.
